Getting Started

Band members are:

Adam Tagarro - Bass
Arman Tagarro - Drums
Jason Flateland - Rhythm Guitar
Paul Dirkse - Lead Guitar

In February of 2006, brothers Arman and Adam Tagarro approached Paul Dirkse to see if he would be interested in a jam session, with hopes of possibly starting a 3-piece band of some sort. Paul agreed, and offered to bring his cousin Jason Flateland along to play as well. The guys melded instantly, deciding to form a band that very night. After some deliberation, they chose the name "Silversmith" and went by that name until 2009, playing shows anywhere from youth groups to bars in the Twin Cities. After a name conflict with another band, Silversmith renamed themselves "Skywarden".

That's Cool!

In 2007, Silversmith was chosen to be in the top 12 bands to compete for the Basilica Block Party Battle of the Bands. Silversmith didn't win, but was honored to participate in the top 12. Silvermith also placed 3rd in the Benton County Battle of the Bands hosted by Rockin' 101 in 2009.

What Gear?

Arman plays drums by Gretsch and Tama, with cymbals from Zildjian and Sabian. Adam, Jason and Paul play Fender instruments.
