Rockin' 101 Band of the Month for March
3/2011 - Skywarden was honored to be chosen by voters as the Rockin' 101 Band of the Month for March, 2011! The Minnesota Homegrown Show is hosted by Tim Ryan on Sunday nights at 9PM. Being Band of the Month means that the station will start each show with one of our songs and feature us on their homepage. Thanks to Rockin' 101 and to our fans!

Good Show at the Fine Line & CD Update
1/13/2011 - Just wanted to thank all our friends and family that came to support us at the Fine Line. We had a great time sharing the stage with Blue Water Dance, Rakastan, and Post Mode. On another note, we'll be getting our songs on iTunes soon, and are setting up a PayPal account so you can purchase a physical CD directly from us!
Radio Play on MN Homegrown
01/02/2011 - Happy New Year! Now that that is out of the way, we are excited by today's news. We got airplay on Central MN's Rockin' 101 this evening! They played "Shines On" and plugged our upcoming CD release show at the Fine Line. Awesome!
CD To Be Released!
12/09/2010 - We are pleased to announce that our debut EP, "The Starfield Escape", is now finished and will be released very soon! The EP contains a six-pack of original tunes, including fan favorite, "Shines On". The CD will be available for purchase on this website, and MP3s can be purchased through various vendors such as iTunes. A lot of hard work was put into making the album, and we are quite pleased with it. The CD was recorded, mixed and mastered by Rik Stirling at Stirling Sound. Its production was a cooperative effort between Skywarden and Rik Stirling.

4th Annual Rockin' 101 Battle of the Bands - Results
08/09/2010 - Wow, what a great day. 8 great bands competed for first, and congratulations to Buzzard for taking the win. Only 8 points (out of hundreds) separated Skywarden from the win. So, with second place, we are proud to have moved up from last year. Congrats to Hourless for taking third. It was very hot out and we appreciate any fans that stood in the sun and enjoyed the tunes.
